A Better Life Enterprises LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SEEDS Budget & Money Manager application ("SEEDS" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name.
Financial Information You Provide. SEEDS is a personal finance tool. You may enter information such as income, expenses, budget categories, savings goals, debts, assets, and net worth. This information is entered by you and stored to provide the App's features. SEEDS does not connect to your bank accounts or import transactions automatically.
Subscription Information. If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of your subscription status through Apple and our subscription management provider (RevenueCat) so we can grant you access. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Usage Information. We may collect basic technical and usage data, such as app version, device type, and interactions within the App, to improve performance and reliability.
Diagnostic Information. To keep the App reliable, we use a third-party error monitoring service that collects crash reports and performance data. We configure this service to exclude the financial information you enter and your email address.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the App's budgeting, coaching, and financial planning features; maintain your account and subscription; personalize your experience, including insights from our in-app coaching feature; improve, secure, and support the App; and communicate with you about your account or the service.
AI Coaching Feature
SEEDS includes an AI coaching feature ("Coach Joseph"). To generate personalized responses, relevant portions of the financial information you enter may be processed by a third-party AI service provider. This processing is used only to generate your coaching responses and is not used to train third-party models.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the App, such as our hosting, database, subscription management, and AI service providers, and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Family Mode
If you use Family Mode, financial information may be shared among members of your household group as you configure it. Only members you link to your household can access shared information.
Data Storage and Security
Your information is stored on secure servers provided by our hosting and database providers. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
You may access and update your account information within the App. You may delete your account and associated data directly in the App's Settings, or by contacting us at the email below. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
Children's Privacy
SEEDS is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date.
