Stop Being Half In.
God does not meet the comfortable. He meets the desperate. And the desperate go all in.
This week, we are calling out double-mindedness, confronting the debt master, and building the Kingdom administration framework that changes generational wealth.
|
|
| |
|
There is a version of faith that looks good on Sunday and falls apart on Monday morning.
It tithes faithfully and carries credit card debt at the same time. It prays for a financial breakthrough and still reaches for the card when the impulse hits. It says it trusts God with everything and quietly guards one pocket of money that nobody is allowed to touch.
That is not a budget problem. That is double-mindedness. And this week, we are naming it, confronting it, and showing you what happens when you finally decide to go all in.

Part 1
Deliverance Is for the Desperate
|
|
Most people want financial freedom the same way they want to lose weight. Deeply. Genuinely. And completely unwilling to stop doing the thing that keeps them stuck.
You say you want freedom. Then you reach for the credit card. You say you tithe. Then you panic when the bill comes. You say you trust God. Then you carry the worry yourself at 2 AM when the numbers do not add up.
James 1:8 has a name for this. A double-minded person is unstable in all their ways. Not some of their ways. All of them. And no plan, no budget, no coaching program will fix what is fundamentally a posture problem.
| |
"A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways."
James 1:8 |
Deliverance is not for the person who is kind of interested in change. It is for the person who is desperate enough to stop negotiating with their own comfort. God meets the desperate. Not because He is withholding from everyone else, but because desperation is the posture that finally stops holding on to what needs to be released.
|
Stop being half in. God meets the desperate.
|
|
Question 1
Where are you half in right now? What financial decision are you still treating like a negotiation instead of a surrender?
|
|
|
|
|
Part 2
You Cannot Be Half In With God and Half In With Debt
|
|
One of them owns you. The question is which one.
Are you giving God His portion while simultaneously paying ransom to a lender who owns a portion of everything you earn?
Proverbs 22:7 does not soften this truth. The borrower is a slave to the lender. That is not a metaphor. It is a financial reality that most households are living inside of right now while wondering why they feel stuck.
| |
"The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender."
Proverbs 22:7 |
Going all in does not mean you have zero debt tomorrow. It means you make one clear, single-minded decision about who is going to have authority over your finances. God or the balance. Purpose or interest. A plan or the default. You cannot build a Kingdom-funded future while simultaneously funding the lender's future with your interest payments.
The moment you decide which master you serve, the strategy becomes clear. Until then, no plan will hold.
|
Question 2
If you added up every dollar you paid in interest last year and gave it a name, what would you call it? That number is the cost of double-mindedness. Is it worth it?

Part 3
Tithe First. Then Diversify the Increase.
|
|
Your income just went up. So did your expenses. Why?
Because nobody taught you to diversify the increase. Most people get a raise and absorb it entirely into their lifestyle. Nicer car. Better apartment. More dining out. The upgrade is real, but the wealth is not building. A year later, the raise feels like it never happened.
Kingdom administration looks different. It starts in the same place it always does. The tithe. First. Always. Not after the mortgage. Not after the car payment. First. That sequence is not a ritual. It is a declaration of who owns the increase and a submission that positions you for more of it.
|
The Kingdom Administration Model
✦ Tithe first. Always. No exceptions.
✦ Then take the new increase and split it across:
Savings account. Emergency fund first.
Stocks and index funds. Long game.
Real estate. Build the asset column.
Business or side income. Multiply your streams.
Legacy. For the generation behind you.
|
This is not assigned to lifestyle. This is assigned to a purpose. Not get rich quick. Generational wealth is built one raise at a time. One decision at a time. One surrendered increase at a time.
| |
"A good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children."
Proverbs 13:22 |

Part 4
What Are You Still Holding Back?
|
|
There is a verse most of us read too fast.
| |
"In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:6 |
All your ways. Not just the spiritual ways. Not just the church ways. All. Your. Ways. Including the way you spend. The way you save. The way you decide what is worth your money and what is not.
Diana tithed faithfully for years and still felt broke. She prayed before big purchases and still made bad ones. Because there was one area she had not surrendered. A pocket of her finances that was still hers. Still controlled. Still outside of His Lordship.
That is the question the Holy Spirit asks the desperate. What area of your money have you not given Me yet? The savings account you guard against giving? The credit card you still hide? The dream you stopped funding because it felt too big to ask for?
|
He is not asking you to be poor. He is asking you to be His. With everything. Including the money.
|
When Diana surrendered the last piece, everything shifted. Not because God needed her money. Because her heart needed to stop competing with Him for ownership. That is the shift that no budget can produce. It is a spiritual decision that produces financial results.
|
Question 3
What area in your finances might the Holy Spirit be asking you to bring under His Lordship right now? Sit with that question today. Then comment one word below — what area are you still wrestling with?

A Prayer for You
Father, we come before You and we stop negotiating. Every area of our finances that we have called our own, every pocket we have guarded from Your reach, we open right now. We do not want to be double minded any longer. We want to be single minded about You. Teach us to tithe first. To diversify with wisdom. To stop feeding debt while claiming freedom. And in the places where we have been half in, make us desperate enough to go all the way. In Jesus name. Amen.

The Plan Is Ready When You Are.
Double-mindedness does not need more information. It needs a decision. And the decision does not require perfect circumstances or a certain income level. It just requires all in.
God meets the desperate. And the desperate go all in.
