There is a verse in the Gospels about money that Jesus said that almost no pastor preaches on Sunday morning.

Not because it is hard to find. It is right there in Luke 16. But because it cuts so deeply, most people are not ready to sit with what it actually says.

Truth 1

Faithfulness Is the Qualifier for What Is Coming

Luke 16:11. Jesus says: "If you have not been faithful with worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?"

Read that again slowly.

He is not asking if you are good with money. He is not asking how much you make, how much you have saved, or how much debt you carry. He is asking something far more serious.

He is asking if you can be trusted with what is coming.

Most of us are praying for the harvest. He is asking about the field. Most of us are asking God for more. He is watching what we do with what we already have.

This is not a prosperity gospel message. This is an administrative message. The blessing is not withheld because God does not want to give it. It is withheld because faithfulness has not yet been demonstrated with the portion already in your hand.

The question is not how much you have. The question is who is holding it. And how.

Truth 2

Storage Before Scarcity. The Joseph Strategy.

Genesis 41. Pharaoh has a dream, and no one can interpret it. Joseph, a prisoner, is brought before the most powerful man in the ancient world. And God gives him not just the interpretation but the strategy.

Joseph did not panic when the famine came because he had spent seven years preparing for it. He built storehouses. He allocated resources. He created systems. And when the crisis arrived, Egypt not only survived. Egypt became the place that every surrounding nation came to for provisions.

That is the difference between surviving a season and managing one.

Most people have not stored for seven days. Most families are one unexpected expense away from crisis. Not because the income is not there. Because there was never a system for the abundant seasons.

The dream came to Pharaoh. But the strategy came to Joseph.

You need a Joseph strategy for your own house. Not just a budget. A system that functions in the abundant seasons so you are not destroyed when the lean ones come. Because the lean seasons are coming. They always do. The only question is whether you are positioned or panicking when they arrive.

Truth 3

You Are the Cycle Breaker

You are not bad with money.

You inherited it.

Your great-grandfather inherited it. Your grandfather repeated it. Your father lived it. And unless someone in the line makes a different decision, the pattern continues into your children and their children.

Poverty is not just a number on a bank statement. It is a spirit. And spirits travel through bloodlines. They show up as the same financial decisions made generation after generation. The same fear. The same scarcity mindset. The same inability to hold on to what comes in.

That includes financial captivity.

But here is what is also true. Wealth passes down the bloodline just as poverty does. The decision you make today about how you handle money does not just affect this month. It affects what your children inherit. What your grandchildren start with. What becomes normal in your family line.

Three Truths. One Foundation.

Faithfulness qualifies you for what is coming. Storage positions you before the crisis arrives. And you are the one who breaks what your bloodline could not.

This is not just financial advice. This is Kingdom administration. And it starts not in your bank account but in your identity. In who you believe you are and what you believe God has placed in your hands to manage.

He is asking if you can be trusted with what is coming. The answer starts today.
